Paragliding in South Africa
South Africa, with its mountains, seaside and wide-open spaces, is a paradise for paragliders and delta pilots.
An adventure full of beauty, amazement and encounters, with grandiose landscapes that will make you want to explore them from the air.
The unspoilt natural spaces in which you'll be flying throughout your stay are wonderful places in which to perfect your technique, and long flights from which you'll enjoy the benefits for a long time to come!
Record-hunters will be delighted with the flying season from October to March, with flights of over 500km possible.
But for the average pilot, it's also a way of discovering South Africa off the beaten track and in very safe conditions.
I propose several itineraries aimed at experienced and autonomous pilots. You fly with your own equipment.
I use my experience in the field to take you to the right sites when the weather is most favorable for beautiful flights.
We leave in small groups of 5 to 8 people on board a minibus, and the equipment is in a closed trailer.
In addition, you will benefit from individualized advice on any problems you may encounter, thanks to the presence of a qualified instructor with over 15 years' experience flying on these sites. Last but not least, you can take advantage of the group to learn and share flying techniques and tactics implemented by each of you.
Alone we go fast, but together we go far! I'm here to help you get back on your feet, so there's no extra charge for those who've flown far, just a drink for less fortunate friends, and there's good wine and beer in South Africa ;)
Homestay to meet the South Africans, who always welcome us with a smile and kindness. Rooms are shared by a maximum of two people.
Evening meals and breakfast are prepared by our hosts or in restaurants. Lunch is not included in the price, as we are often flying.
Aviation liability, repatriation insurance compulsory.
